Rockcast Friday.08.21.09a; Alice In Chains, 10cc, Kevin Rudolf, Nick Lowe, Idle Race, Klaatu, Band Of Skulls, T Bones, Manchester Orchestra

Man, My very own bank is stickin' it to me.
I have always had my arse covered in case
I might not have enough in the checking account.
You know what's known as overdraft protection.
Occasionally in the past I forgot I had a bill pending
and would go over, so I had this protection which is
part of my account. Now I find if I go over I get
charged. Not only that but I pay a monthly fee to do
such. You can decline. Problem is you don't have to
sign up, they automatically sign you up. Now you have
to go to them and say I don't want this service. They
call it "Opting out" of the service. I have been trying
to talk to a live person for 3 weeks. This rep is
always in a "meeting", yeah right. So I figure it's
not the $3. a month, it's the fact you have to contact
them to take you off. Sucks. So as I sit on hold let us
spin some tunes. Here's to a great weekend!

Here is the scoop on the T Bones,
Whatever Shape Your Stomachs In was originally recorded in 1965 as the soundtrack music bed for an Alka Selter commercial which ran in the U.S. After the popularity of the spot the studio musicians recorded the hit single. Pretty silly huh?
