A major lightning storm once again knocked
out the electricity to the studio yesterday
preventing me from posting this earlier.
Yeah I am really tired of that! Damn electric
companies are whacked.
I am constantly irritated by the recycle program
in my neighborhood. You have to separate all the
cans and papers and bottles and such in to separate
bins. On top of the fact you have to pay to have it
picked up. Then I watch as they throw all the stuff
in the back of a regular garbage truck. Why is it
necessary to separate it all? If it is not in their bin
or separated they won't pick it up. Just to see it all
dumped together chaps my... you know. So why do
I have to spend time separating it? I have started
to put it all together in one big black bag and then toss
it in the official bin. No need to complain, nobody is
ever on duty to answer the phone at the company.

...know how you feel.I read your post to my girl who seems to think i like reading others' complaints.Not necessarily-I just happen to get peeved at the same things.I won't sort-the county,state,etc. gets any profits from said 'recyclables' and they can't manage budgets :(
Yeah Matt the Cat I was more wondering if others noticed this or was irritated by the same thing than I was complaining. They obviously are making money at it. Would probably make more if they didn't have to pay someone to re-sort the stuff after they pick it up.

well Big Al I know from personal experience ( an ex used to work for the county) that they don't pay much-at least in valdosta ga- min. wage).The ruse there nowadays is less recycle center hours and an annual fee to use such.Anything to siphon more $ from our pockets...
