Rockcast Wednesday.09.16.09a; Smashing Pumpkins, Kansas, Atomic Bitchwax, Hot Rocks, Bon Jovi, Kottonmouth Kings, Al Kooper, BST, John Mayall & E.C.

Can someone explain to me what's the deal with
all these "Tea Parties"? Now we all know the tale
of the original tea party which took place in Boston
harbor at the tail end of the 18th Century. Those
tea partier's had a valid point, "taxation without
representation". Here in the dawn of the 21st century
I am not sure exactly what the tea parties are attempting
to accomplish. Why even call the gatherings tea parties?
Are the organisers covertly attempting to align themselves
with past revolutionaries? Beats me. I bring this up because
one of my neighbors was loading up their monster truck
SUV. I asked what they were up to and they stated they
were headed to a "tea party". Scratching my head still
on that one.

Rockcast Tuesday.09.15.09a; Ace Frehley, Sweet, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Disco Biscuit, Uncle Kracker, Blue Cheer, Deep Purple, Hot Rocks

There is plenty rant fodder to go round but
today I was struck by the passing of Hometown
Action Hero Patrick Swayze. Although, the Ladies
remember him as a dancing instructor from Dirty
Dancing. I also think of him [and Sam Elliott] kicking
ass in the film Roadhouse [with the Jeff Healey Band].
So if a fan of his films, what was your favorite?

Rockcast Monday.09.14.09a; Electric Light Orchestra, Foreigner, Big Kenny, Farmer Dave Scher, N.E.D, Edgar Winter Group, Saliva, Creedence, John Fred

Just got back from a quick trip to North Carolina
for my Niece's wedding. She is my brother in laws
oldest so it was a weekend with the inlaws who are
a pleasant group to spend time with. Why I even
was able to dance with my wife! At the last minute
the beer man fell through so I had to come to the
rescue by securing a half barrel of suds. And an
all out party ensued. I am a zombie today.
