So as I watched the President give his State of the Union
speech last night I thought "Wow, he is talking right to me."
In the first two minutes he said he understood people were
tired of the Bull. Tired of partisanship. Tired of all the bickering.
Man that is so me. I have gotten to the point where I am sick
of watching anything from America calling itself News. On a
local level maybe but for the Big Picture I look to the BBC.
Here in the U.S. they are to busy wondering when Paris is
going to do another sex tape with a chihuahua. Or if Gerard
Butler can still fit in his Spartan togs. The republicans [I purposely
left it uncapitalized] should be ashamed of themselves. The
State of the Union address is the task of the President of the
United States, not the task of the newly elected tool of a
governor of Virginia. I understand giving both sides of the story
but these talking heads push there own agenda and look for
people they can go into agreement with. You trying to tell me if
the republican candidate had been elected anything would be any
better? Horsesheet. One year ago the idiot-crisy was calling for
an end to GW Bush. Now they want to renew his tax cuts for the
wealthy that just months ago they were bitchin' about. People
need to get behind the man and his plan. If one more clown tells
me it's too ambitious I'll nail 'em. We are suppose to be ambitious.
